Dr. Coursey offers comprehensive interventional pain care that is performed using minimally invasive techniques. Pain procedures are guided by using live X-Ray, CAT scan, or Ultrasound guidance. Most procedures have little to no down time, and improve quality of life greatly.
Dr. Coursey works with a team of two other doctors and one nurse practitioner in clinic. We see patients in our Windsor clinic for clinical evaluation. Once a decision is made on how best to treat your pain, you will be scheduled for your procedure at Banner McKee Medical Center or Banner North Colorado Medical Center. This clinic does not prescribe oral or patch narcotics to treat pain.
Dr. Coursey and his team use some of the most sophisticated imaging available to guide pain interventions. This technology is much more advanced than what is seen with office based equipment or even at surgical centers in most cases. The use of exceptional imaging means we are better able to target the area or cause of your pain, delivery therapies or medication much easier and much safer. This also means our results are often more successful at helping pain compared to procedures performed with less sophisticated and cheaper equipment.
